Privacy Policy

Sinidious.live (the “Site”) and the Legion Discord bot (the “Bot”) are operated by Sinidious (“we,” “us”), based in the State of Florida, United States. Together they make up the “Services” that power the Legio Sinistera community, including the Legion Merit System of XP, ranks, specialization tracks and commendations.

This policy explains what information we collect, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to the Site, the Bot, and related integrations such as Discord Linked Roles, Twitch and Minecraft.

When you sign in with Discord

• Your Discord user ID, username, display name, avatar and the email address on your Discord account.
• The list of servers you belong to. We use it only to confirm you are a member of our server, and we do not store it.
• OAuth access and refresh tokens that Discord issues so the Site can act on that sign-in.

When you verify for Discord Linked Roles

• Your Discord user ID and username.
• OAuth tokens that let us publish your Legion rank and XP to Discord, so the server can grant roles that require them.

From your activity in our Discord server

• Counts of your messages and minutes spent in voice channels.
• Reactions you give and receive in help and project channels, plus the IDs of the related messages and channels. We use these to award XP and prevent duplicate rewards.
• Your XP, ranks, track progress, commendations, titles, weekly orders, squads, mentorships, endorsements and similar Legion records.
• Cooldown and anti-farming records tied to your account.

We do not store the text of your Discord messages. The Bot reads messages only to detect qualifying activity, such as a post in the project channel.

From accounts you choose to connect

• Twitch: your Twitch user ID, username, connection date and any channel reward redemptions.
• YouTube: your channel ID and channel name.
• Minecraft: your Minecraft UUID and username, used for server whitelisting and in-game Legion events.
• Clips you submit and votes you cast on clips.

Technical information

Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records request logs. These logs include IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamps. We use them only to operate, secure and debug the Services.

• To sign you in and keep you signed in.
• To run the Legion Merit System, including XP, ranks, leaderboards and seasonal standings.
• To show your profile, stats and achievements on the Site and in Bot commands.
• To publish your rank and XP to Discord when you verify for Linked Roles.
• To link your Twitch, YouTube and Minecraft accounts and deliver related features.
• To detect and prevent abuse such as XP farming, alternate accounts and fraud.
• To maintain, secure, troubleshoot and improve the Services.
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

We use only cookies that are strictly necessary for the Site to work. We do not use advertising cookies, analytics or tracking cookies, or third-party tracking pixels.

We also save a small value in your browser’s local storage to remember that you have seen our cookie notice, so it does not appear on every visit.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the cookies above, you will not be able to sign in. Public pages will still work.

When you follow links to Discord, Twitch, YouTube or other services, those services may set their own cookies under their own privacy policies.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising.

• Other community members. Your username, avatar, rank, XP, track progress, commendations, titles and leaderboard positions are visible to others on the Site and in Discord. This visibility is a core part of the Legion system.
• Discord. If you verify for Linked Roles, we send your rank and XP values to Discord. Discord may show them on your profile and use them to grant server roles.
• Service providers. Google Cloud hosts the Site. Our database runs on infrastructure we operate. Providers process data only to deliver the Services.
• Platforms you connect. We exchange data with Discord, Twitch, Google and YouTube, and Mojang or Microsoft for Minecraft, only as needed for the features you use.
• Legal reasons. We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the rights, safety or property of our community, our users or others.
• Changes to the Services. If the Services move to a new operator, your information may move with them, and this policy will continue to apply to it.

We keep your account and Legion records for as long as you have an account or remain part of the community. Commendations are designed as a permanent record, but we will still delete them if you ask us to delete your data.

Session records expire automatically. Hosting request logs are kept for a limited period set by our hosting provider. When you ask us to delete your data, we remove it from active systems within a reasonable time. Some data may remain in backups for a short period, or where we must keep it for legal or security reasons.

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. These include HTTPS, encrypted database connections, firewall restrictions and signed OAuth state. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

• Access and correction. You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it.
• Deletion. You can ask us to delete your account and associated Legion records.
• Disconnect accounts.You can disconnect Twitch from your dashboard. You can revoke the Site’s Discord access, including Linked Roles, at any time under User Settings, then Authorized Apps, in Discord.
• Cookies. You can control cookies through your browser, as described above.

To make a request, contact us using the details below. We may need to confirm that the Discord account is yours before acting on it. We honor these requests for all users, wherever they live.

The Services are not directed to children under 13. You must be at least 13, and meet Discord’s minimum age in your country, to use them. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

The Services are operated from the United States, and information is stored and processed there. If you use the Services from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to the U.S., where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page. We will announce material changes on the Site or in our Discord server. If you keep using the Services after a change, you accept the updated policy.
